the marian advocacy
The school is committed to help and train students grow towards development of their potentials mentally, emotionally, physically, socially, morally, and spiritually, and provide opportunities geared towards achieving their goals.
The Marian Youth Movement – Fort Bonifacio High School Chapter helps in moral and spiritual formation of students and form youth leaders to become models of our society.
It is the desire of the school that every MYM member who voluntarily embrace the MYM lifestyle will grow as a good and integrated person.
It is our dream that our students be formed according to the Christian virtues and values and become evangelizers of youth and their immediate environment.
Thus, Fort Bonifacio High School is and will always be part of the Marian Youth Movement.
OUR VISION
The Marian Youth Movement of Fort Bonifacio High School envisions, with the help and intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, a community bonded by love, care, faith, truth, and justice; an institution that promotes the teachings of the Catholic Christian Faith and of the Word of God; a race that protects and defends the Church and its people; a government that is transparent and has developed mutual connection with God and its people; and a world that eternally exhibits the characteristics of a One, Holy, Apostolic, Catholic, Christian Church.
OUR MISSION
Our Mission is to HELP people, especially the youth, develop mutual connection with God; STRENGTHEN the holy Catholic Christian faith; PROMOTE transparency, Catholicism and Christianity, unity, cooperation, peace, and mutual aid towards a Christ-centered community; TEACH and PREACH the Word of God; DEFEND our Faith and Relationship with God and with each and every one of us; and SPREAD genuine Marian devotion, for God honored her first.

who we areThe Marian Youth Movement is a religious organization under the Ecclesiastical province of Manila headed by His Eminence Cardinal Gaudencio Rosales. It is rooted in Marian devotion for spiritual and moral upliftment.
The Marian Youth Movement has a three-fold program: 1. Winning – Fraternal Stage, recruitment of members 2. Forming – Praying Stage, spiritual formations and apostolic activities 3. Sending – Apostolic Stage, evangelize the youth to become renewed Christ-centered individual. Objectives and Targets 1. Motivate the youth leaders to become fraternal, praying, and apostolic Christian people; 2. Promote genuine devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary; 3. Train youth leaders to become evangelizers and apostolic leaders in their communities; 4. Strengthen the moral, spiritual, and social values of students. Proponent Monsignor Matt Garcia initiated the MYM organization in 1985, the National Marian Year. |
our historyThe Marian Youth Movement started in Fort Bonifacio High School in 1990. Mrs. Violy Perando and Ms. Rosalinda Paredes acted as the Scholastic Core Group’s Teacher-Animators.

Our Female Department was also awarded the Female MYM Model SCG for four (4) consecutive years. 1. Krishia Nhel Gayo – S.Y. 2007-2008 2. Paula Balunday – S.Y. 2008-2009 3. Joanne Empig – S.Y. 2009-2010 4. Demmylor Bagalan – S.Y. 2010-2011 With the help and support of our school through the leadership of our School Principal, we will always continue promoting the genuine Marian devotion and form youth leaders capable of igniting spiritual rebirth among their fellow youth.
